The dad of the kids I babysit made me feel unsafe

I had been babysitting for this family for over six months. The mom was doing a fitness competition out of town and asked me to help with the kids. Since she had to go a day early, she arranged for me to ride there with her husband, their kids, and the grandma.

When I arrived, the dad said the grandma would drive separately, so it ended up just being me, him, and the kids. During the drive, he started making personal comments that made me uncomfortable, then tried to touch me under the excuse of “keeping balance.” I pulled away and told him to stop, but he didn’t take no seriously. I texted my mom and the wife right away, saying I didn’t feel safe.

As soon as we arrived, I ran straight to the wife and told her what happened. Turns out, it wasn’t the first time. I called the police and quit immediately. What would you have done if you were in my place?
