What is your favorite National Park?

... Read moreVisiting National Parks is not just about exploring nature; it’s an opportunity to connect with the great outdoors and enjoy numerous recreational activities. In the East Coast of the United States, there are several stunning National Parks that offer a diverse range of landscapes and experiences. For instance, Shenandoah National Park is famous for its scenic views along Skyline Drive and its hiking trails that cater to varying skill levels. If you enjoy hiking, don’t miss out on the Appalachian Trail which runs through several parks and offers breathtaking trails. Another must-visit is Acadia National Park in Maine, where rugged coastlines meet lush forests, offering a mix of hiking, biking, and kayaking opportunities. Furthermore, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, straddling the border of North Carolina and Tennessee, is renowned for its biodiversity and beautiful hiking trails, including a portion of the Appalachian Trail, with popular spots like Clingmans Dome and Cades Cove attracting millions of visitors each year. For those looking for an educational experience, visit Park Rangers who often conduct programs about the parks’ natural and cultural resources. A Passport to Your National Parks can be an exciting way to document your visits, as each park offers unique stamps. Last but not least, don’t forget to check out local tourist boards, National Park websites or social media groups that can provide information on less-known parks and hidden gems worth exploring. Whether you’re an avid hiker, a family looking for fun outings, or someone simply hoping to immerse themselves in nature, there’s a National Park waiting for you to discover!

As we slowly check off our NP checklist, Yosemite has to be one of our favorites so far. The drive was a little scary (I’m terrified of heights) but it was so beautiful at the same time! We plan on visiting again during a different time of the season 🏞️ —— #yosemitenationalpark #nationalpa

how do we not talk about this national park more!?
Ok ok, I know Olympic National Park is fairly well known, but the fact that it’s not in most people’s top three national park list is an absolute CRIME! Don’t get me wrong, I love Yellowstone and The Grand Canyon, but you will never get as much biodiversity in one place as Olympic National Park.
