💥Natural Flu + Cold Tea Bombs💥

Sniffles got you down?

When cold season hits, it’s time to bring out Oma’s secret weapon — Tea Bombs! ☕✨

These Tea Bombs have become a must-have in Oma’s kitchen. They’re immune-boosting, soothing, and packed with simple, natural ingredients that actually work.

🌿What’s Inside:

🍋Lemon – Vitamin C to strengthen your immune system

🌿Ginger – Calms nausea & supports circulation

🧄Garlic – Nature’s antibiotic

💛Turmeric – Reduces inflammation & supports recovery

🍯Honey – Soothes the throat and adds natural sweetness

✨Spices – Cinnamon or cayenne for a little warming kick

💧Just drop one in a mug of hot water, stir well, and sip slowly.

It’s like a hug in a cup — comfort, warmth, and healing from the heart of the homestead.

💥INGREDIENTS

▪️2 whole lemons (peeled)

▪️2 large bunches of fresh ginger

▪️1 whole head of garlic

▪️2 T turmeric

▪️1 T black pepper

▪️1 T cinnamon

▪️1 ½ T cayenne pepper (optional, adjust for spice preference)

▪️½ T apple cider vinegar (ACV)

▪️1 ½ T honey (or substitute with maple syrup/agave for vegan option)

▪️3 cups water

💥INSTRUCTIONS

▪️Peel the lemons and chop them.

▪️Peel and chop the fresh ginger into chunks.

▪️Peel garlic cloves

▪️In a blender, combine peeled lemons, ginger, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne pepper (if using), apple cider vinegar, honey, and water.

▪️Blend until the mixture is smooth.

▪️Using a fine mesh sieve or, preferably, a cheesecloth, strain the mixture to remove the pulp and solids, leaving you with a smooth liquid.

▪️Discard the solids or compost them.

▪️Pour liquid into silicone muffin tray or ice cube tray. Each portion should be about 2T.

▪️Freeze 4-6 hours or overnight.

▪️Once frozen, remove the tea bombs from the tray and put into an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 3 months.

💥NOTES

▪️Use Cheesecloth will help remove more sediment, leaving a cleaner liquid for your tea bombs.

▪️Customizing the Spice Level by Adjusting the cayenne pepper. If making for kids or those sensitive to heat, you can reduce or omit the cayenne entirely.

▪️Honey Substitutes: maple syrup or agave can work as substitutes for honey.

▪️Portion Control:

Each frozen portion is around 2 T, so you can customize your tea’s strength by using more or less of the bomb when dissolving in hot water.

▪️Add-ins: Add a splash of extra honey or a slice of fresh lemon when making the tea to customize the flavor to your liking.
