ニューバランス9060（U9060）の「特徴・特別な点」を一言でいうと、見た目のボリュームと、履いたときのシャープさ・快適さが両立しているところだと思います。私も最初は「ゴツいかな？」と数年迷っていたんですが、実物を見ると“格好いいなU9060”ってなる理由がちゃんとありました。 まず見た目。9060はソールがどーんと厚くて存在感が強いのに、アッパーがふっくらしつつもパーツの重なりやラインの緩急が効いていて、横からだけじゃなく上から見たときに意外とシュッと見えます。単に厚底なだけじゃなくて、作り込みでシルエットを整えている感じ。私はこの造形がちょっと“ガンダム感”あるなと思っていて、メカっぽい立体感が好きな人には刺さるはず。 次に履き心地。厚めのソールは体感で4cm前後の盛れ感があって、自然にスタイルアップします。それでいてクッション性がしっかりしていて、地面の硬さが伝わりにくいのが嬉しいポイント。さらにアッパーがふっくらしていて足が包み込まれる感じがあり、踵が「ぎゅむっ」とホールドされるのも安心感がありました。たくさん歩く日でも疲れにくいタイプだと思います。 サイズ感は、足幅広め＆外反母趾気味の私だと、パンプス24.5cmでニューバランスはだいたい25cmが定番。9060も同じ感覚で選んでちょうど良かったです。甲の当たりや指先の圧迫が気になる人は、厚手の靴下を履くかどうかも含めて試着できると安心。 最後にコーデ面。ボリュームがある分、細身パンツやIラインのスカートと合わせると靴が主役になってバランスが取りやすいです。逆にワイドパンツで合わせるなら、裾の長さを少し短めにしてソールを見せると「こんなにボリュームあるのに格好いい」って雰囲気が出ます。 9060は“派手”というより、ボリュームと作り込みで成立している格好よさが特別。気になっているなら、一度履いてみる価値はかなり高いと思いました。
