its been an incredibly rough first trimester, but i’ve missed y’all SOOO much. i’m holding it down the best i can at my corporate job with a ton of stress and alllll the symptoms - but this week i realized i need to take it easy *and* get my weekly infusions/treatments at the hospital like i’m supposed to.
ENTER - the kindle era. 🌤️💙 complete with pink (!!) page turning remote + hands-free clip stand to mount at the hospital or at home.
the kindle paperwhite with accessibility friendly accessories is great for distracting yourself from rough mornings, hospital visits, and chronic illness pain flares. i started reading the top pick for thriller titles on kindle unlimited this morning when i felt too sick to sleep, but for tomorrow’s reference..
what books do you recommend for someone with kindle unlimited and a prime reading subscription? my favorite genres are thriller, psychological thrillers, horror, mystery, non-fiction, poetry, prose, funny stories, essays, almost anything really.
(PS: sephora + ulta package hauls are incoming. i’ve had NO energy lately, but stay tuned!)

In today's fast-paced world, taking the time to reset and indulge in a good book is essential. If you’re using a Kindle or Kindle Unlimited, there are endless options to dive into thrilling narratives that can capture your attention and provide an escape from daily stressors. Popular genres like psychological thrillers, horror, and mystery can transport you to different worlds, offering suspenseful and engaging experiences perfect for reading during breaks or relaxing at home. You might consider diving into titles like "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides, a gripping psychological thriller that keeps readers guessing until the very end, or "The Guest List" by Lucy Foley, a story filled with twists and drama that unfolds during a wedding weekend gone wrong. For those who enjoy lighter reads, a collection of witty essays or humorous stories can lift your spirits and offer a good laugh. Authors like David Sedaris and Mindy Kaling provide relatable and entertaining content that's great for quick reads between daily tasks.
