One effective method involves improving daily oral care with products containing natural ingredients that combat bacteria and strengthen teeth. Coco Clove Soda’s Sugar & Spice toothpaste includes xylitol and cloves, both known for their dental benefits. Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol that reduces cavity-causing bacteria and promotes remineralization of enamel. Cloves contain eugenol, a compound with analgesic and antibacterial properties that help reduce tooth sensitivity and fight infections. Regular use of toothpaste with these ingredients can improve oral health by reducing decay and inflammation. Additionally, maintaining a consistent oral hygiene routine—including brushing twice daily, flossing, and regular dental checkups—can further decrease the risk of needing a root canal. Replacing conventional toothpaste with natural formulations that include xylitol and cloves aligns with growing consumer interest in holistic dental care. These ingredients work synergistically to offer protection without harsh chemicals. Finally, before proceeding with invasive dental treatments like root canals, obtaining a second opinion and exploring preventive options can sometimes reveal alternatives. Incorporating natural toothpastes into your oral care routine is a promising approach to deter infections and maintain sensitivity, helping some patients avoid root canal therapy altogether.

I was told I needed one from my cavity fill in coming out years ago and I never got it fixed only bc my tooth never gave me any constant pain. From a holistic standpoint point a root canal or extraction isn’t good for your body as your nerves in the teeth are connected to your organs and once one of these procedures are done it has been shown that ppl have had complications in their bodies from this which is why I’m so hesitant 🥺 I understand tht hygienist have gone to school for this but they haven’t be educated on a holistic level which is why I don’t fully trust their word bc they only have knowledge of one side of the equation and not both sides they only know what they have been taught. No shade to them at all bc I value their professional opinion but I cannot ignore this fact.
