Just sharing what worked for me 💕 I’m far from an expert, still learning, and still have goals to reach. But over the last 9 weeks I’ve lost 46+ pounds by focusing on consistency, simple habits, and discipline. No magic fix — just showing up every day. Posting this in case it helps or motivates someone else on their journey too. 💪🏽 #weightlossjourney

... Read moreEmbarking on a weight loss journey can be overwhelming, but my personal experience taught me that simplicity and consistency make all the difference. Over the past 9 weeks, I committed to staying in a calorie deficit of about 1200-1500 calories per day, a range that worked well for my body and lifestyle. Rather than seeking a perfect plan, I focused on progress and sustainability. One key habit I adopted was walking 10,000 steps daily. It felt manageable and became a non-negotiable part of my routine, proving that effective exercise doesn't have to be complicated. Alongside movement, I prioritized hydration by drinking about one gallon of water each day, which helped curb cravings and boosted my energy levels. Protein intake was another essential factor—I made sure to consume around 100 grams daily to stay full and support muscle strength. Additionally, I practiced intermittent fasting with a 16:8 schedule, which helped me control hunger and remain focused throughout the day. Rest is often overlooked, but getting 8 hours of sleep each night was crucial for my body to recover and keep metabolism functioning efficiently. Although I hadn't started going to the gym yet, choosing to master consistency in these habits laid a strong foundation for future fitness goals. The biggest lesson is that there is no magic fix—just showing up every day, staying disciplined, and embracing small habits can lead to incredible long-term results. If you're starting your own journey, remember to listen to your body, adjust according to your needs, and celebrate every bit of progress along the way.
