Happy birthday to my little boy

Wow, it feels like just yesterday I welcomed Merlin into my life, and now my fluffy little boy is celebrating his 5th birthday! Looking at him now, a handsome black dog with a playful glint in his eye, it's hard to imagine he once fit snugly into a Dr Pepper 12-pack box. That memory always makes me smile, reminding me of how tiny and vulnerable he was as a puppy. Now, he's a big, energetic five-year-old, full of personality and endless cuddles, a true member of our family. This year, for his 5th birthday, we went all out! I got him a special dog-friendly cake from our local pet bakery and, of course, a new blue party hat – he looked absolutely adorable, even if he tried to shake it off after a few minutes!
