Our Graduation Trip
Sometimes as teachers we forget the kids just want to be kids. Even through they are teenagers and are on their way to high school, they are all just big babies. I loved seeing my babies have fun without a care in the world. They were away from all of their at home responsibilities of taking care of younger siblings and able to just be kids again. They had a ball and it filled my heart 💜 🙂Scene75 Entertainment Center | Chicagoland #8thgrade #teachervibes #graduation🎓 #fieldtrips #atimewashad
Graduation trips are a wonderful way to celebrate and create lifelong memories. As teens transition from middle school to high school, it’s essential to provide them opportunities to enjoy the freedom of youth. Consider planning a trip that includes fun activities, such as amusement parks, beach outings, or educational excursions that also allow for playtime. Involve the students in the planning process to ensure the trip reflects their interests. This could mean choosing a destination known for its excitement, such as an escape room, a water park, or a nearby city with engaging attractions. Budgeting is also key; look for group discounts and off-peak times to save money. Checking reviews and travel blogs can help find the most suitable activities that cater to your group’s preferences. Additionally, ensure the experience fosters friendships and camaraderie among students. Whether it’s through team-building activities or time spent relaxing together, these experiences create a bond that lasts beyond graduation. Remember, the goal is to allow teens to feel carefree, so they can fully enjoy their transition into the next chapter of their lives.
