Oh my goodness, fellow foodies of Beaverton! I just had to share my recent experience at the brand new Bon Crème Cake & Coffee. As soon as I heard about their soft opening, I knew I had to check out this promising spot located at 4545 SW Angel Ave. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! My first impression walking in was how bright and inviting the space is. The modern decor, with its sleek marble-top tables and comfortable wooden chairs, creates such a pleasant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you could easily settle in with a good book, catch up with a friend, or even get some work done. The large windows let in so much natural light, making the whole pastry display sparkle – truly, the 'Pastry Case was gorgeous,' as I noted in my mind. You can even spot a cute bear logo through the glass, adding to its charm. Now, onto the star of the show: the treats! I decided to indulge and picked up a few items. The almond croissant was an absolute dream – perfectly flaky on the outside with a rich, sweet, and nutty filling that wasn't overly cloying. It paired wonderfully with my drink. I also ventured into the savory side, trying both the tomato olive danish and a spinach feta danish. Both were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced – a perfect light lunch option or a sophisticated snack if you prefer something less sweet. I was eagerly eyeing their cinnamon rolls, but alas, they were completely sold out even early in the day! That just tells you how popular they must be, and it’s definitely at the top of my list for my next visit. The demand alone speaks volumes about their quality. The display case itself was a true work of art. Beyond what I bought, I saw a vibrant array of colorful macarons in every shade imaginable, beautifully decorated individual cakes, and so many other tempting pastries. It’s clear they put a tremendous amount of care into presentation as well as taste. While I focused mainly on pastries this time, seeing "CAKE & COFFEE" prominently displayed, I know I'll be back to sample their coffee offerings too. They had a variety of coffee options, and a refrigerated display with canned beverages and more decadent desserts, ensuring there's something for everyone, whether you're craving a sweet treat or a refreshing drink. For anyone in Beaverton looking for a new go-to spot for delicious baked goods, quality coffee, and a cozy yet modern ambiance, Bon Crème is a must-visit. It's fantastic to see such a high-quality establishment open in our neighborhood. It’s still their soft opening, so I’m excited to see how they grow and introduce even more delights, but they’re already off to an amazing start.
