The goal is to find myself again! 💙

1/3 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my own experience, I’ve found that the journey to truly finding yourself again starts with patience and kindness toward yourself. When dealing with grief and unresolved trauma, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or stuck in negative cycles. What really helped me was intentionally creating moments of stillness each day, where I could just breathe and acknowledge my feelings without judgment. Filling your cup isn’t just about distraction—it’s about nourishing your soul with things that genuinely bring peace and joy. For me, that included journaling my thoughts, practicing gratitude even for the smallest blessings, and reaching out to supportive communities that emphasize renewal of mind and spirit. Using positive affirmations and reminders like “I am worthy of love” helped reprogram harmful thought patterns. Another important aspect is to slow down the pace of life and not rush the healing process. Healing is nonlinear and requires giving yourself permission to rest and regenerate. Whether that means spending time in nature, meditating, or simply sitting quietly, allowing yourself these moments helped me reconnect with my inner self. Finally, integrating mental health awareness into daily life can transform how you cope with grief. Understanding that mental health is just as important as physical health motivates ongoing self-care. Through this deep, consistent care, I gradually felt more aligned and whole. Remember, the goal is to keep filling your cup with love and peace until you feel centered again—because finding yourself is the most valuable journey you’ll ever take.
