My hidden talent 🤫
I’ve always been the creative one but never in my life would I think that I could draw let alone paint. I tried doing it because creating something calms me down and helps me get out of the world for a while, it’s therapeutic for me.
So here are some of my work, my favorite was the last one, I was also going through something while I was painting him but I power through.
what are your thoughts?

It's amazing how sometimes you stumble upon a passion you never knew existed, right? Like me, discovering this whole new world of painting. For so long, I considered myself creative but never thought I had the hand for visual art. But that's the beauty of a 'hidden talent' – it's often something you might overlook or not even realize you possess until you simply try. So, what exactly is a hidden talent? It's not necessarily a grand, show-stopping skill, but rather an innate ability or inclination that might be undeveloped or simply not yet recognized. It could be anything from a knack for organizing, a unique way of problem-solving, a soothing singing voice you only use in the shower, or, in my case, a surprising ability to convey emotions through a brushstroke. These aren't always skills you actively seek to learn, but rather something that feels natural and deeply satisfying when you engage with it. If you're wondering how to identify your own hidden talents, my biggest advice is to just start exploring! Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. I picked up a brush simply because I needed a therapeutic outlet, and suddenly, a whole new world opened up. Think about activities that make you lose track of time, or things you enjoyed as a child but perhaps put aside. Sometimes, a 'cool skill to learn' isn't something you have to force; it's something that resonates with your spirit. Perhaps you're naturally good at connecting with animals, have a flair for baking without a recipe, or an uncanny ability to fix things around the house. The feeling of seeing 'what I painted lately' and noticing 'it's progress' is incredibly rewarding. It's not just about the final product; it's the journey of creation that brings so much peace. Engaging with my art helps me quiet my mind and find a sense of calm that's hard to achieve otherwise. This is one of the most significant benefits of uncovering a hidden talent – it can be a powerful tool for self-care, stress relief, and self-expression. So, I encourage you all to try something new this week. Paint, write, try a new craft, learn a few chords on a ukulele – whatever sparks even a tiny bit of curiosity. You never know what incredible 'secret talents' you might be harboring! It's not about being perfect; it's about the joy of discovery and the unexpected ways we can enrich our lives.
