... Read moreIf you're looking to impress your family or guests with a fall-inspired dish, this pumpkin spice beef stew is a fantastic choice. Unlike traditional beef stews, this recipe uniquely incorporates a blend of pumpkin spice and cinnamon, adding a warm, aromatic twist that perfectly complements the rich flavors of the beef and vegetables. The use of an Instant Pot cuts down cooking time significantly without sacrificing tenderness or flavor. Just combine chopped onions, stew beef, carrots, broth cubes, garlic powder, bay leaves, oregano, tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper, then add a teaspoon of pumpkin spice and a pinch of cinnamon for that cozy fall vibe. Cook on high pressure for 40 minutes and enjoy immediate comfort food. Prefer a slower cooking method? The slow cooker version lets the beef simmer low and slow for 7–8 hours on low or 4–5 hours on high, intensifying flavors and ensuring melt-in-your-mouth texture. Don’t forget to remove the bay leaves before serving. For a thicker stew, add a cornstarch slurry near the end of cooking to create a luscious consistency. Serving suggestions are versatile—mashed potatoes are classic for soaking up the delicious sauce, but pasta or crusty bread also make excellent accompaniments. Additionally, since this recipe naturally aligns with gluten-free diets, it can accommodate dietary preferences without losing any flavor. To further enhance the stew, consider adding seasonal root vegetables like parsnips or sweet potatoes or garnishing with fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme to balance the spices. This pumpkin spice beef stew offers a comforting, flavorful meal that embraces the essence of autumn and delivers a delightful twist on a beloved classic.
