Steak Hibachi with Veggies

Ingredients:

• 1 top round steak slab (thinly sliced)

• 1 cup cooked white rice

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• 2 tablespoons butter

• 1/2 onion, diced

• 1 clove garlic, minced

• 1 bag broccoli

• 2 eggs

• 3 tablespoons soy sauce

• Seasonings: To taste

Instructions

1. Prep Ingredients:

• Slice the steak into thin strips.

• Dice the onion.

• Mince the garlic, if not already done.

• Measure out 1 cup of white rice

2. Prepare the Rice:

• Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot.

• Stir in 1 cup of rice, cover, and reduce heat to the lowest setting.

• Simmer for 20 minutes without removing the lid.

• Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork, then set aside.

3. Cook the Broccoli, Onion, and Garlic:

• Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in your 9.5-inch frying pan over medium heat.

• Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent (about 2-3 minutes).

• Add the minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.

• Add the entire bag of broccoli, season lightly, and cook until tender-crispy (6-8 minutes).

• Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.

4. Sear the Steak:

• Heat another 1 tablespoon olive oil in the same pan over medium-high heat.

• Add the thin steak slices in a single layer.

• Sear for 30-45 seconds per side until just cooked through.

• Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

5. Scramble the Eggs:

• Lower the heat to medium.

• Melt 1 tablespoon butter in the pan.

• Crack in 2 eggs and scramble until just set, breaking them into small pieces.

6. Combine Everything:

• Add the cooked rice to the pan with the eggs, stirring to combine.

• Add the cooked vegetables (broccoli, onion, and garlic) and steak back into the pan.

• Stir in 3 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoon butter for added flavor.

• Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is well combined and heated through.

7. Serve:

• Taste and adjust seasoning with more soy sauce, salt, or pepper as needed.

• Serve hot and enjoy!

Enjoy!!
