It was for a special 13th birthday celebration, and seeing their face light up was priceless. If you're looking for unique cake ideas, especially an 'energy drink cake' or an 'Alani can cake', this is definitely one to try! Getting that iconic 'pouring' effect was the highlight. For anyone wondering how to achieve it, I used an empty Alani Nu 'Pink Slush' energy drink can, carefully secured it with food-safe dowels hidden inside the cake, and then created the illusion of liquid pouring out with edible gelatin mixed with pink food coloring. The 'cubes' were made from tinted gummy candies, which added such a fun, realistic touch. The base of the cake itself was a classic pink and white striped birthday cake – simple, yet so effective in matching the Alani aesthetic. You can easily customize the 'Happy 13th Birthday!' message on the cake board to fit any age or occasion, making it truly personal for your loved one. Now, let's talk about flavors!
