I really enjoyed this read! Well, enjoy is a weird word because the book is about cannibalism and is quite disturbing, but I thought the themes this book covers are very interesting. For me, it felt as though the more I read, the more the main character seemed just as bad as the society he hates. I thought the author did a really good job on conveying her thoughts on the idea of humanity, greed, and hypocracy(among other things). It's pretty graphic for anyone who is opposed to that kind of stuff but if you're down, you definitely won't regret reading Tender is the Flesh!
