The Path of Light on the Top of Doi

On the steep top of the northern border of Thailand, where the weather is cold and the fog is constantly rattling, a little boy named "Bin" was born and raised here in the valleys and plantations, but his life is not recorded in the Rat Register, he has no Thai nationality, only the land on this alley is like his ancestral hometown and tomb.

Life began with a small absence. When the "father" suddenly left when he flew in his mother's stomach, leaving the "mother" to bear all the burden, raising him alongside "eyes" and "grandmother." Amid the poverty and tranquility of his forest, the flying boy's life has been bound to nature and family support since he was remembered.

When he was about 10 years old, he decided to leave home wanting to seek better opportunities and ways, and he asked for a place to live in a small temple in the neighborhood, and eventually he entered the umbrella of the Pustar girl, and was a novice. This was a major turning point that turned his life around.

The master in charge of the temple on Doi noticed something in the flying novice. Besides his diligence in duty, his eyes glowed with thirst for knowledge. He wanted to study, wanted to read, write, wanted to understand the wide world beyond the top of the doi.

Kindly and foreseeing its potential, the Master decided to send a novice flying to study, study and live at the "Primate Temple" in order to gain better educational opportunities.

It was here that the "Father of the District" saw the novice flying, and he saw the determination to study seriously as if this was the only breath of life. Not only did he give discipline, but he also saw that this beautiful flower deserved more sunlight, and took the novice to take him to be a disciple and ask for mercy from the "Father of the Provincial Primate" at a large temple in the city district.

Moving to the city was another world for a boy from Doi, but he was not discouraged. The Provincial Primate, as abbot, entrusted the "Secretary" with special care for his practice, study and life.

His secretary was like an important leader, and he saw that the novice flew with great determination, and advised him to apply to the "Non-formal Education and Hospitable Education Center" in the city district.

Despite his many temple obligations, the flying novice took up his free time on Saturdays and Sundays, to sit in the classroom, in the midst of a different environment, he studied most intently, diligently, never absent from school.

With the effort, perseverance, and kindness of all the teachers, his efforts eventually bore fruit. The flying novice was able to successfully complete the basic education program in grade school...

This is the first chapter of his life, which proves that even if he was born on Doi, without citizenship, or even absent from the first day of his eyes to the world, if he has a committed heart and a merciful adult, life can always move beyond the walls of limitations to the light of knowledge.
