Chagee changed me✨

For context, I used to be a milk tea hater because of a bad experience. In the past, I had a very bad headache and felt like puking after a cup. Initially, I thought I was lactose intolerant. Turns out I like both separately, but the blend of milk & tea isn't something I’ll go for.

No one could convince me to drink milk tea again until my uni friend recommended me Chagee.

For me, I love both Western and Chinese teas, and I’ll always go for the ones with strong flavour and taste🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

These are some of my top favs:

Ratings (5/5)

1. BO.YA Jasmine Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (seasonal)

This is one of my favs so far after it was released recently. The fragment of Jasmine & TGY blends vv well tgt.. there’s just something about it that is addictive. Wished that this could become a perm on the menu tho😔😔

2. Peach Oolong Milk Tea (4.7/5)

Definitely one of my favs because of the fruity taste.

3. Osmathus Oolong Milk Tea (4/5)

I used to be a huge fan because this was my first milk tea after so many years. But I slowly felt the floral was too strong for my liking and decided to go for peach oolong instead.

... Read moreBefore discovering Chagee, I was hesitant about milk tea due to a past discomfort after drinking it. However, Chagee’s offerings, especially their BO.YA Jasmine Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, completely changed my mindset. What sets this milk tea apart is the delicate balance between the floral jasmine and the rich, bold Tie Guan Yin tea, creating a refreshing and addictive drink without overwhelming sweetness or heaviness. For those who, like me, appreciate strong tea flavors with a hint of creamy texture, Chagee provides a fantastic alternative to conventional milk teas that can sometimes be too sweet or milky. The seasonal BO.YA blend adds uniqueness that keeps me coming back, even wishing it would stay permanently on the menu. From personal experience, the Peach Oolong Milk Tea is another must-try—it offers a fruity twist that brightens the palate while maintaining that satisfying tea depth. The Osmathus Oolong Milk Tea is lovely as well but felt a bit too floral for my preference over time. If you’ve ever been wary of milk tea but enjoy good quality teas, I highly recommend giving Chagee a try. Their approach respects both the tea’s origin and the milk’s creaminess, which, in my case, turned me from a skeptic into a milk tea fan. This has not only allowed me to explore richer tea tastes but also enjoy mindful spending on drinks that truly satisfy.
