「甘味処 角屋（かどや）」って、検索すると“閉店”って出てきてちょっと不安になりますよね。私も行く前に調べてドキッとしたんですが、実際に千林商店街の出口あたりまで行くと、普通に営業していてひと安心。心配な人は、行く当日の営業時間（13:30〜）と定休日（月・火）だけは念のため確認しておくのが安心です。 あと、角屋はとにかく“秒で満席”になりやすいので、初訪問の人ほど段取りが大事だと思いました。私は暑い日にふらっと行きたくなるタイプなんですが、ここは開店20分前くらいに着けるとかなりラク。13:30ぴったりを狙うと、並びが伸びて「え、こんなに？」ってなりがちです。店内は思ったより席数があるのに、それでも回転より来店が勝つ感じでした。 メニューは本当に多くて、初見だと迷います。定番の宇治抹茶はやっぱり人気で、周りでも頼んでる人が多かった印象。私は画像の文字にもある「きなこと金時」系が気になって選びましたが、甘さの方向が違うメニューが多いので、2人以上なら“かき氷1つ＋ソフトクリーム（またはアイスもなか）”みたいに分けるのが正解。氷は見た目以上に量があって、1人だと後半ちょっと寒くなることもあります。 アクセスは、千林大宮駅から徒歩4分・千林駅から徒歩6分くらい。千林商店街が近いので、食べ歩きの休憩スポットとしても使いやすいです。ただし車の場合は注意。近くのコインパーキングがすぐ埋まるので、最初から少し離れた駐車場も候補に入れておくと焦らずに済みます。 最後に、角屋は「派手な映え」より“昔から愛される甘味処の安心感”が強いお店でした。千林でかき氷を探している人、千林商店街で涼める場所が欲しい人にはかなりおすすめ。次は水ミルクやナタデココ系も試してみたいです。
