At first, I honestly given my socials the name OshunFox because of the insane imagery it gave whenever you’d say it out loud. The sound of it, I instantly just fell in love. After thinking about it, it made me want use it for more than just a username on socials. I wanted it to redefine who I am not only as a person but an artist after my hiatus.
Oshun (Deity in the Yoruba religion) is goddess of love, beauty, fertility etc and represents so much more to admire. With a fox, its resilience, uniqueness and ability to adapt were also admirable traits and so it just felt right to put the two together. Not so much of a deep story here but the more I create, the more I’m discovering. This is OshunFox. This is my Brand🫶🏾
