私が行った日は、噂どおり「ドライブインよしだ恐るべし…」な混み方でした。開店のだいぶ前に着いたつもりでも、すでに車が多くてびっくり。日によっては駐車場に入れない車が道路脇に停め始めて、あとから交通整理が入ることもあるみたいなので、週末や連休はとにかく早め行動が安心です。 混雑対策で私がやってよかったのは、①到着したらまず記入（受付の流れがある時は先に名前を書く）、②開店まで周辺で時間をつぶす、③食後すぐ出庫できるよう停め方を意識する、の3つ。窓際席は湖が見えて最高ですが、その分人気なので「席にこだわるなら、なおさら早め到着」が正解だと思います。 名物のイカ丼は、甘みのあるアオリイカと、とろろご飯の組み合わせが想像以上に相性抜群。特製ダレで食べ進めると箸が止まらなくて、気づいたら完食していました。お腹に余裕があれば、ソースカツ丼や鯖のへしこなど“若狭グルメ名物”系も一緒に楽しむのもおすすめです。 行く前に知っておきたい注意点もいくつか。支払いは現金のみなので、コンビニATMなどで用意しておくと安心です。あと、臨時休業や営業時間の変更がある場合はInstagramで案内されることがあるので、当日は出発前に公式の投稿をチェックするとムダ足になりにくいです。 写真を撮る人は、料理のアップだけじゃなくて「お店の外観」「待ち状況（駐車場）」「湖畔の景色」も撮っておくと、あとから見返したときに旅の記録が濃くなります。福井でイカ丼を探しているなら、ここは一度行って損なしの一軒でした。
