Katsurahama, located in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, is a scenic beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean and is one of the most scenic spots in Japan, known as a place related to Ryoma Sakamoto, a scholar at the end of the Edo period.

桂浜は「何を見ればいいの？」となりがちですが、私は“歩く順番”を決めると一気に楽しみやすくなりました。ここでは、桂浜観光の回り方を、実体験ベースでまとめます（坂本龍馬像・桂浜水族館・龍王岬までを一気に満喫したい人向け）。 まず到着したら、いきなり浜へ降りる前に高台側から全体を見渡すのがおすすめ。太平洋の広さが一発でわかってテンションが上がります。写真やGoProで撮るなら、最初に広角で“桂浜に来ました”の一枚を押さえておくと後で振り返りやすいです。 次に定番の坂本龍馬像へ。像の前は人が集まりやすいので、混む時間帯（GWなど）は先にここを済ませるとスムーズでした。龍馬像は「見て終わり」になりがちですが、少し角度を変えるだけで背景の海の入り方が変わるので、数パターン撮っておくと満足度が上がります。「龍馬像見て、海見て」の流れは王道です。 その後は、桂浜公園のエリアで休憩＆補給。海風で体力が削られるので、歩く予定があるなら早めに水分と軽食を入れておくと安心です。お土産もここで先に目星をつけておくと、帰りにバタつきません（私は“土産買って”から後半の散策に入りました）。 そして本日のメインが、龍王岬までの散策。体感では「思ったより歩く」ので、歩きやすい靴が正解です。途中の道は景色が開けるポイントがあるので、動画を回しながら歩くと旅感が出ます。頑張って龍王岬まで歩くと、先には海津見神社があり、ここが個人的にいちばん“来てよかった”場所でした。岬の先端は風が強い日もあるので、帽子や手荷物は飛ばされないよう注意。 撮影のコツは、岬で水平線を入れて撮ること。GoProなどの広角だと「地球が丸いや」と感じる映り方になって面白いです（レンズの特性なので、気になる人は補正機能をONに）。 最後に、滞在時間の目安。龍馬像＋浜辺＋テラスで1.5〜2時間、龍王岬までしっかり歩いて寄り道すると2.5〜3.5時間くらい見ておくと焦りません。日帰り（GW含む）でも組みやすいので、桂浜の楽しみ方に迷ったら「龍馬像→海→水族館orテラス→龍王岬→海津見神社」の順でぜひ歩いてみてください。
