Yamashiro Fuhe Sports Park

Kyoto Prefectural Yamashiro Sports Park (commonly known as Taiyogaoka) is one of the largest sports parks in Kyoto with sports facilities, large playground equipment and a swimming pool on a vast site.
Facility Overview and Main Areas
Sports Area: Track and field, baseball field, tennis court, gymnasium, etc. are fully equipped, and it is possible to use from full-fledged competition to individual exercise.
Play Forest / Adventure Forest: There are dinosaur-shaped playground equipment and athletics, and it is a popular area for children.
Bouken-no-mori: There is also a paid facility where you can enjoy treetop activities and zip lines.
Family pool: Open only in summer. A wave-making pool, sliders, and water athletics are installed, and it is crowded with many families.
