Joyo Illumination
In Joyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, the largest illumination event in Kyoto "Pageant of Light TWINKLE JOYO" is held every year as a winter tradition.
Also called "Jominarie," hundreds of thousands of LEDs vividly color the city.

Main attractions
Works based on a theme: Each year, three-dimensional works and panels with different themes (such as dinosaurs and ancient adventures in the past) will appear.
Abundant photo spot: There are many photogenic spots such as a symbol tree with a height of 8 m and a heart-shaped light object.
Hikari no Market: Approximately 20 food booths will open in the "Stone Plaza" inside the venue, where you can enjoy warm gourmet and sweets.
The parking lot will pay 1000 yen as a cooperation fee, but if you show the receipt, you can use it as many times as you like during the season

城陽イルミネーションは、冬の京都で特に訪れたいイベントのひとつです。私も過去に家族や友人と訪れたことがありますが、毎年テーマが変わるため飽きることなく楽しめます。今年のテーマ「ホラーナイト」は、ハロウィンの余韻を引き継ぎながらも独自の演出があり、光と影のコントラストが幻想的で見ごたえがあります。 個人的にお気に入りなのは、高さ8mのシンボルツリーです。巨大な光のツリーが夜空に映え、写真を撮るのに最高のスポットでした。また、ハート型の光のオブジェもあり、カップルでの訪問にもぴったりです。写真映えする場所が多くSNS映えも抜群なので、多くの若者も訪れて賑わっています。 さらに、光のマーケットでは約20店舗もの飲食ブースが出店しているため、冬の冷えた体を温めるホットドリンクや甘いスイーツを楽しめるのも魅力のひとつ。私が訪れたときは特製のホットチョコレートが絶品でした。 駐車場利用も協力金1000円でシーズン中何度でも利用可能という点は、地元の方や遠方から訪れる人にとってありがたいサービスだと思います。城陽市総合運動公園内の広々とした会場は家族連れにも安全で安心して楽しめる環境です。 猛暑の夏から一転、冬の澄んだ夜空の下で輝くイルミネーションに囲まれて過ごす時間は、心も体も癒されます。今年の「ホラーナイト」テーマのユニークさもあり、訪れる価値は十分にあります。ぜひ寒さ対策をしっかりして、幻想的な城陽イルミネーションで素敵な冬の思い出を作ってください。
