📍: An Urban Sanctuary The hotel stands out like an ancient fortress in the heart of the capital Thimphu. The rooms here are spacious, classic and decorated as if to stay in a warm palace. It's a good place to start before leaving deep in the valley.
📍: The Hidden Lotus
This is a real highlight. Access here is like a ritual, because there is no direct access road. We have to walk over a suspension bridge with a flag waving over the Mo Chhu River.

เผื่อใครกำลังเสิร์ชหา “pemako punakha / pemako punakha bhutan” แล้วอยากรู้รายละเอียดแบบตัดสินใจได้เลย เราขอเสริมจากประสบการณ์ที่ไปพักจริงว่าที่นี่ให้ฟีล “รีเซ็ตชีวิต” มากกว่ามาแค่ถ่ายรูปสวยๆ ค่ะ อย่างแรกที่จำไม่ลืมคือ “ทางเข้า” ที่ต้องเดินข้ามสะพานแขวนประดับธงมนต์หลากสีเหนือแม่น้ำ Mo Chhu ลมพัดธงดังฟึ่บๆ ตลอดทาง เหมือนตั้งใจให้เราค่อยๆ วางความวุ่นวายไว้ข้างหลัง พอข้ามถึงอีกฝั่งแล้วบรรยากาศเงียบลงทันที ได้ยินเสียงน้ำกับเสียงธรรมชาติแทนเสียงเมือง นี่เป็นเหตุผลที่หลายคนบอกว่า Pemako Punakha เหมือนดินแดนลับในหุบเขา เรื่องห้องพัก ถ้าใครลังเลระหว่าง “สวย” กับ “สบาย” บอกเลยว่าที่นี่ได้ทั้งคู่ แบบที่นอนแล้วหลับลึกจริง วิลล่าเต็นท์ (Tented Luxury Villa) จะมีความเป็นส่วนตัวสูงมาก มีระเบียงไม้กว้างให้นั่งดูวิวหุบเขาและนาขั้นบันไดไกลๆ บางช่วงอากาศดีนั่งยาวได้ทั้งเช้า-เย็น จุดที่เราชอบคือดีไซน์ที่ยังรักษาโทนภูฏานไว้ ทั้งงานไม้ งานทองแดง และรายละเอียดเล็กๆ ที่ทำให้รู้สึกอบอุ่น ไม่ได้หรูแบบแข็งๆ ใครเป็นสายแช่น้ำต้องถูกใจ “อ่างอาบน้ำทองแดง” ในห้องน้ำ คือแค่เปิดน้ำอุ่นแล้วแช่ มองออกไปเห็นต้นไม้เขียวๆ ฟีลเหมือนสปาส่วนตัว และถ้าเลือกวิลล่าที่มีสระว่ายน้ำส่วนตัว สระสีฟ้าเทอร์ควอยซ์กลางแจ้งนี่ถ่ายรูปขึ้นมาก (แต่แนะนำพกชุดคลุม/เสื้อกันหนาวไว้ เพราะตอนเย็นอุณหภูมิลดเร็ว) อีกมุมที่หลายคนพลาดคือพื้นที่ส่วนกลางและอาคารสไตล์ภูฏานดั้งเดิม—ทางเดินไม้ บันไดหิน ผนังสีเหลืองกับลายแกะสลักละเอียดๆ ถ่ายแล้วได้ฟีลภูฏานแท้มาก รวมถึงโซนอย่าง Alchemy House ที่บรรยากาศสงบและมีคาแรกเตอร์ เรื่องกิจกรรม/เวลาพัก เราว่าที่ Pemako Punakha เหมาะกับการอยู่ช้าๆ 2 คืนขึ้นไป เพื่อได้ใช้เวลานั่งระเบียง เดินเล่นรอบพื้นที่สีเขียว และลองสปา Lotus Realm แบบไม่เร่ง ถ้าไปแค่คืนเดียวจะรู้สึกยังไม่ทันได้ “เข้าโหมดนิ่ง” ก็ต้องเช็กเอาต์แล้ว ทิปเล็กๆ ที่ช่วยให้ทริปดีขึ้น: เตรียมรองเท้าที่เดินดีสำหรับทางสะพาน/ทางเดินในรีสอร์ต, เสื้อผ้าเลเยอร์สำหรับเช้า-เย็น, และเผื่อเวลาให้ตัวเองได้อยู่กับความเงียบจริงๆ เพราะเสน่ห์ของ Pemako Punakha Bhutan คือความสงบที่ทำให้เราอยากวางมือถือแล้วหายใจลึกๆ ค่ะ
