Presidio Tunnel Tops: Elevated views, space to spread out, and amazing sightlines of the Bay.

Aquatic Park: Close to Fisherman’s Wharf with steps, lawns, and easy access.

Pier 39: Ideal for food, fun, and front-row air show action.

Golden Gate Bridge: Watch from the east sidewalk or toll plaza area.

Marin Headlands: Incredible panoramic views from across the bridge. Pair with a hike!

Angel Island: Hike up to Mount Livermore for a bird’s-eye view of the entire show.

Sausalito Waterfront: Laid-back vibe with amazing views across the Bay to the city skyline.

On the Water: Hop on a cruise or private boat for an unbeatable front-row seat right under the action.

📏 Distance: ~4 miles out-and-back


⛰️ Elevation Gain: ~900 ft

🐶 Dog Friendly: ✅ Yes (on leash)


🌞: Mostly sun-exposed; can get windy near the ridge 💨

⚠️ Watch for cows along the trail—they often graze nearby.

🅿️: Free parking at the Elderberry Staging Area (end of Bollinger Canyon Rd).
