A small homestand in the middle of the Melon Mae Valley, where we spent a night resting in an Akha-style wooden house with no signal, no outside noise, only fog and wind noise from winter. 🌨️❄️
We arrived in the afternoon, found the yellow 🐕 dog of the shelter running to welcome before walking up the hill to the villa. On the way to see the view, he enjoyed to forget that there was a tram service. There was no air conditioning, no phone signal, only cold weather, but it was most comfortable and calm. We lay down until the evening. We realized again that there was a hot pan of pork served with a sunset view. We walked to the reception to use wifi. We met the landlord to talk to each other. Some days there would be a show from the villagers. If there were all guests, we went during Christmas. That year, there was a small fire and a theme. The atmosphere was so warm that we sat until midnight.
The next morning, the fog slowly reached the balcony in front of the bed, and we slept almost at breakfast, boiled rice and a glass of warm tea before walking with the yellow again, and it was time to check out of the hill on the small tram of the property.
When we go to the end of 2024, the average accommodation price is 700 baht per person, the price is hundreds, but the service and feeling of receiving it is too much. It is another place to repeat on the day of wanting to rest again. ☺️
