help!!!should i finance this car?

hey #Lemon8 ! recently my first car died and i was looking into potentially financing this vw beetle i saw at a nearby dealership, its 11 years old but has under 100k miles. 11k feels like so much to me, is it worth it? its my dream car !

also, should i do a down payment? or all through financing? i know most auto loans only do cars up to 10 years old :(

... Read moreFinancing a car, especially a dream car like a VW Beetle, is a big decision that requires careful consideration. When deciding on financing options, it's important to evaluate the overall cost over time, including interest rates and additional fees. For a 2013 VW Beetle with 89k miles priced at $11k before taxes, conducting thorough research on loan terms will help you make an informed choice. Many lenders offer competitive auto loans, but be aware that some may have restrictions on financing vehicles older than ten years. This situation could affect your ability to secure a favorable loan. A down payment can often lead to lower monthly payments and demonstrate your financial commitment, impacting the approval process positively. Furthermore, consider the long-term value of your purchase. The VW Beetle has a unique charm and tends to retain its value well, making it a potentially smart investment. If you are unsure about your financing options, consulting with a financial advisor or using online calculators may provide clarity on what you can afford. Overall, it's a blend of assessing your budget, understanding loan terms, and knowing the resale value of your dream car.
