It can be tough, balancing work, studying, and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life, but the satisfaction of achieving a new qualification is unmatched. Being an operator, especially as a woman, comes with its unique set of challenges and triumphs. There are days I feel like I'm running on fumes, just like when I said I was 'sleepy than a mf'! But then there are those moments when I'm up in the cab, looking out over the city, and I remember why I do what I do. The power, the precision, the responsibility – it’s exhilarating.
