Our Journey to “I Do” 💍 | Lesbian Visibility Week
In honor of Lesbian Visibility Week, I’m looking back at the beautiful life my fiancée and I have built together. 🏳️🌈✨ It’s been a year of huge milestones and even bigger growth:
• The Big "Yes": Getting engaged and starting this new chapter. 💍
• Mystic Vibes: Our bachelorette weekend in Mystic, CT was everything. (Highly recommend for a girls' trip!) 🥂⛵️
• Advocacy: Raising awareness for Epilepsy—a cause so close to our hearts. 💜
• The Little Things: Celebrating every birthday, holiday, and career win with our best friends. 🎂
Visibility is about being proud of the quiet moments and the loud ones. So lucky to have you by my side. 👩❤️💋👩

Reflecting on our engagement and the experiences we've shared, I've come to realize how important visibility is—not just for the major milestones but for every quiet moment that builds a strong, supportive relationship. Lesbian Visibility Week reminded me to cherish these moments and embrace our identities with pride. Our bachelorette weekend in Mystic, CT, was more than just a celebration; it was a perfect blend of friendship, fun, and meaningful connection. For anyone planning a girls' getaway, Mystic offers charming vibes and beautiful scenery that make it unforgettable. Advocating for epilepsy awareness has been a powerful part of our journey. Epilepsy touches many lives, and raising awareness helps reduce stigma and fosters empathy. I encourage others to support causes close to their hearts, as it strengthens relationships and community bonds. Celebrating the little things—birthdays, holidays, and career achievements—with loved ones has truly deepened our connection. These moments may seem small, but they contribute greatly to our happiness and sense of belonging. Overall, our experience highlights that visibility involves embracing all aspects of love and life openly. It's about being proud to celebrate loudly and quietly with those who matter most. Sharing this journey during Lesbian Visibility Week has been both empowering and uplifting, inspiring me to continue advocating for love and equality.
