What If I Had a Seizure in Front of My Friends?

There was a time I was seizure-free for 4 years. When my seizures returned, I expected to worry about my health.

Instead, my biggest fear was having a seizure in front of my friends.

Would they know what to do? Would they be scared? Would they stop inviting me places? Those thoughts stayed with me every time I left the house.

Living with epilepsy has taught me that I can’t control everything. What I can control is creating a life with more flexibility.

That’s one of the reasons I chose to build an online business. It isn’t a treatment or a cure for epilepsy, but it gives me the opportunity to work around my health instead of constantly worrying about fitting into a traditional schedule.

If you’ve ever had a disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence change the way you see your future, comment FREEDOM or send me a DM. I’d love to share what I’ve learned.
