Why are they expected to do anything but teaching?
Why is it that our responsibilities as a student go anywhere beyond studying a lesson? Every time I walk out of lecture, I’m like “Did I even learn anything?” Half the time, my teacher just goes through slides without explaining, doesn’t answer questions clearly.
I end up staying up late Googling notes or begging classmates to fill me in. And If a teacher’s job is to plan lessons, explain stuff, and help with practice… why do so many skip the actual “explaining” part? I’m not asking for them to be my therapist or tutor but at least teach the material!
Am I the only one who leaves class more confused than when I walked in? Do you guys also end up self-teaching most of the time?

this is why i do asynchronous classes lol, they post the lectures and themselves presenting them without going off on fifty tangents and it’s easier to digest the content on its own anyways
