What to do about bias at work? I don't wanna quit.

Hey everyone, need real talk. My manager’s totally biased. He never balances the workload, all the crap work gets dumped on a small group of us, while most people just do easy stuff. And forget equal opportunities, they only go to his faves.

I even brought up being overloaded in our 1:1, but he totally missed the point. It feels like he’s doing it on purpose, we’re the ones burning out, and we don’t even get recognized for it. The last thing I wanna do is kiss up to him to avoid the garbage tasks, though.

Has anyone dealt with a boss who plays favorites this bad? What’s the best way to push back without sucking up, or do we just have to let him keep getting away with it?

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare. Dealing with a biased manager is so draining. Have you thought about documenting everything?
