New homeowner’s tax shock
Guys, I just opened my property tax bills and my jaw dropped. Two bills, each nearly $5,130 plus a 10% penalty if I’m even a day late? Like, seriously? I bought this land, but now I’m on the hook for thousands every year as if I don’t actually own it.
It’s such a raw deal, especially with these crazy high amounts. San Bernardino peeps, who else is dealing with this nonsense? How do you make peace with paying so much tax on something you already bought? Let’s commiserate below.
