Viori shampoo & conditioner review 🫧

I’ve been seeing ads for these for years and decided to give them a try because they’re eco-friendly 🍃
After one wash my hair already felt soft and healthy…. like instantly. It almost felt like I had some sort of product or a leave-in conditioner in afterwards. The next time I got in the shower, the tub was a little slippery….. (it does leave a little bit of a film since they contain natural oils) but it washed away quickly… not a huge deal.
It smells amazing and the scent stays in your hair for hourssss. This one is fresh and smells like a spa. I bought the rosemary and biotin bars since I’m trying to grow my natural color out again, but they have different bars for different hair goals.
I wash my hair every other day, but I ended up shampooing twice to get a better lather so 1 bar actually lasted me a little over a month. I’d say for $10 it’s absolutely worth buying. 💗
The only reason I don’t give it a 10/10 is because of how long it takes to lather…. The conditioner bar takes me almost 5 minutes to get through all of my ends and some days I just don’t have time for all of that.. but how my hair feels after does make it worth it and I have noticed my hair is actually growing! Other than that, I have no complaints. It makes me set more self-care time aside. Great product. Will be buying again. 💕
When I first stumbled upon Viori, the eco-friendly aspect was a huge draw for me. We're all trying to be a bit greener, right? These aren't just solid bars; their commitment extends to minimal, plastic-free packaging, which, as my images showed, I'd rate a solid 10/10! It feels good knowing I'm cutting down on plastic waste in my shower routine. This really tipped the scale for me in the 'BUY' category when I was weighing 'BYE or BUY' for these unique products. One thing I really appreciate about Viori is their diverse range. Like many of you, I have specific hair goals – I’m currently trying to grow out my natural color, so I picked up their Rosemary & Biotin bars. But they have different formulations for almost every hair need, whether you're dealing with dryness, oiliness, frizz, or just want to boost shine. It’s not a one-size-fits-all solution, which is wonderful because everyone's hair is unique and deserves tailored care. Now, let's talk about the learning curve. My initial thought after my first wash was, 'This takes a bit longer to lather than liquid shampoo!' I usually shampoo twice, and it definitely required a bit more effort to get that rich foam. My go-to tip? Make sure your hair is thoroughly wet, then rub the shampoo bar directly onto your scalp in a few sections. You can also rub it vigorously between your hands to create a good lather first, then apply to your hair. It truly gets easier with practice, and the results are so worth it. And for the conditioner bar, which originally took me almost 5 minutes to get through my long ends, I’ve found a simple trick that has been a game-changer: instead of just rubbing the solid bar directly, try melting a bit of it in your hands under warm water first. This creates a creamy, spreadable texture that distributes through your hair much more easily, saving precious shower time and ensuring every strand gets conditioned! Speaking of natural oils, I did notice a slightly slippery tub after my first few washes – it felt like a little film. This is actually quite common with some natural hair products, especially those rich in botanical oils designed to deeply nourish your hair. It washes away quickly, so it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. If you’re concerned, a quick rinse of your tub after showering usually takes care of it, and the benefits to my hair far outweigh this minor inconvenience. After using these solid shampoo and conditioner bars for over a month, as my 'After 3 washes...' image hinted, I can honestly say the initial adjustment is well worth it. My hair isn't just soft; it feels genuinely healthier, has a beautiful spa-like scent that lasts for hours, and I've definitely noticed growth. Considering one shampoo bar lasted me well over a month, that $10 price tag feels like an absolute steal compared to what I used to spend on quality liquid products. It’s hard to go back to plastic bottles once you’ve experienced the convenience of a solid bar in a bamboo holder – especially when traveling! This product has genuinely made me prioritize self-care a little more, and I'm already planning my next purchase.
