Hey fellow artists and OC creators! I know how tough it can be to constantly find fresh 'oc drawing inspiration,' so I wanted to share a bit about my process behind this character. When I first started thinking about her, I really wanted to push boundaries and create something truly unique, which I hope you can see in her design. One of the first things that came to mind was playing with color. Instead of typical skin tones, I opted for a vibrant 'green skin,' which immediately gives her an otherworldly or fantastical vibe. To complement this, I chose 'curly orange hair' – the warm orange against the cool green creates such a striking contrast that instantly catches the eye. And her 'purple eyes'? They just add another layer of mystery and depth, really making her gaze pop! Don't be afraid to experiment with unexpected color combinations for your own OCs; sometimes the most unusual pairings create the most memorable looks. For me, details are everything. Showing a 'full-body digital drawing' gives a sense of her overall physique and style, while the 'close-up digital drawing' lets you focus on her intricate facial features and emotional depth. I always aim to make the character feel alive, even in a static image. For instance, the pose where her 'hand is near her face' adds a touch of introspection or perhaps a playful gesture. My biggest tip for finding your own 'oc inspo' is to look everywhere! Don't just stick to art for inspiration. Think about nature, architecture, fashion, even abstract concepts. Mix and match elements you love. What if your character has bird-like eyes and metallic skin? Or hair that flows like water? The possibilities are endless. And remember, the journey of creating an OC is about exploring your imagination.
