angelcore custom pc build
i am finally sharing this special project with you. It took longer than we anticipated to complete and there are still a few imperfections to address. we plan to add magnets and adjust some of the measurements so it fits more precisely inside the case. even so, I’m genuinely pleased with how it turned out and truly grateful to the person who brought this idea to life.
this was a project I had originally envisioned for my previous case, where I incorporated greek columns, and now we’ve thoughtfully adapted the concept to the Hyte Y70.
my inspiration for this are: @techtesseract with their custom mermaid pc and of course @zombietechgaming with their gothic build
pc case is from @hytebrand
📌 this is a personal project and the STL files are not for sale.
what did you think? Is there anything we can improve or change in the design?
Building a custom PC with a themed aesthetic like Angelcore involves more than just assembling components; it’s about expressing creativity and personality through design. When I embarked on this journey, I focused on adapting classical elements such as Greek columns to give the build a timeless and artistic touch. The challenge was ensuring these intricate additions fit seamlessly within the Hyte Y70 case, which required precise measurements and plans to add magnets for better stability. Drawing inspiration from creators like Techtesseract’s mermaid PC and Zombietechgaming’s gothic builds helped me understand how to blend creativity with functionality. These ideas pushed me to think about how each element not only looks but also enhances the overall user experience. For example, the addition of magnets is a smart solution to secure custom parts without damaging the case or internal components. From my experience, when customizing your PC case, especially with 3D-printed parts like those created from STL files, always allow room for adjustments. Initial fits can be tight or loose, and it takes several iterations to perfect a design. Also, mixing classical motifs with modern hardware creates a stunning contrast that stands out in any setup. If you’re considering a similar project, I recommend starting with a clear vision and researching different styles that resonate with you. Utilize community inspiration, but don’t hesitate to personalize and experiment. Remember, the best builds are not only about performance but also about telling a story through your setup. This personal angle adds unique value and reflects your identity as a gamer or creator.
