Before & after Chemo

Having gone through the entire process of chemotherapy for endometrial cancer, I wanted to share some insights that might help others facing similar challenges. When I was first diagnosed in October 2024, it was overwhelming, but focusing on each step day by day made the journey manageable. My first treatment was in December 2024, and despite the tough side effects, such as fatigue and nausea, maintaining a positive mindset really made a difference in how I coped. Nutrition played a big role too—eating small, frequent meals rich in protein and keeping hydrated helped combat some of the chemo side effects. I also found gentle exercise, like walking and stretching, boosted my energy levels unexpectedly. The support from my family, healthcare team, and connecting with other cancer survivors online provided immense emotional encouragement. One year after my last treatment on March 23, 2025, I celebrated my cancer-free anniversary. This milestone reminded me how perseverance through treatment and self-care strategies can lead to restoring health and hope. To anyone currently undergoing chemotherapy or about to start, remember that every day you move forward is a victory in itself. Sharing stories and leaning on a support network is invaluable during this journey.
