Turns out I don’t like crab either.. 🦀#doyou #personaljourney #livingmybestlife
I used to think that trying popular dishes like crab would be a guaranteed win, especially when everyone around me seemed to enjoy them. But personally, I found myself not liking crab at all. It's funny because I waited an entire hour just to get a stone crab bib fitted, ready for the experience, only to realize it wasn’t for me. Not to mention, the little discomfort of having my hair pulled while getting ready! This experience made me think about how different personal journeys can be. While many of my friends are married with kids and following a certain path they consider a win, my own path looks quite different — and that’s perfectly okay. Everyone defines their own version of success and happiness. For me, living my best life means embracing my own preferences and not feeling pressured to like things just because others do. These moments of self-discovery are important. They remind us that it’s okay to say no or walk away from what doesn’t feel right, whether that’s a food, lifestyle, or societal expectation. By sharing this personal journey, I hope to encourage others to honor their true tastes and paths, knowing that authenticity is truly the key to happiness.
