Lavender season in Spain is officially here, and there's no better place to experience it than Brihuega! 🌿💜
Every July, this little town in Castilla-La Mancha transforms into a sea of purple, with more than 1,000 hectares of lavender in bloom. It's definitely one of the most beautiful places I've visited in Spain during the summer!
📅 Best Time to Visit: Early to mid-July during peak bloom
🚗 Getting There: Brihuega is only about 90 minutes from Madrid, making it an easy day trip
🎵 Don’t miss the Festival de Lavanda, when live concerts are held right in the middle of the lavender fields at sunset
📸 Make sure you leave time to explore the town itself. It’s full of quiet streets, charming little shops, and all kinds of locally made lavender products—from honey and handmade soaps to chocolates, essential oils, and lavender ice cream.

If you plan a day trip from Madrid, I recommend arriving early to avoid crowds and have enough time to stroll through the fields leisurely.
