My iphone layout !! ͙֒‧₊˚ 🎐 ⋅˚✧
i haven’t gotten overwhelmed by my phone layout in awhile, so i wanted to share.
i’ve been enjoying my bear aesthetic 🤎
Ever found yourself staring at your phone, asking 'why does my screen look like this?' Maybe it feels chaotic, or you're just yearning for a fresh look. I completely get it! For a long time, my iPhone screen was a source of overwhelm, especially with my AuHD making visual clutter extra challenging. I tried endless aesthetic widgets but realized functionality had to come first. This isn't just about pretty pictures; it's about creating a space that genuinely supports you. Before diving into changes, think about what makes your current screen feel 'off.' Is it too many apps you never use? Widgets that give no real value? Or maybe just a lack of a cohesive theme? My journey started with a massive declutter – getting rid of those 'random downloaded apps' I hadn't touched in months. I focused on what I truly needed: useful apps that served a purpose, not just to fill space. This shift from 'pretty' to 'practical' was a game-changer for me, helping me move past feeling overwhelmed. Once I cleared the digital junk, I started building a layout that works for me. My 'bear aesthetic' isn't just cute; it brings me joy! I realized that even small touches, like a fluffy pink and white phone case, contribute to the overall vibe. For my lock screen, I prioritize immediate info: the time (like 12:30), date (Wed 1 New Year’s Day), weather (49° Clear), and battery, along with quick access to my Google Calendar. And yes, those little cartoon bears at the bottom always make me smile! Widgets are game-changers if used right. Instead of endless rows, I opt for practical ones: a clear Google Calendar for my January plans, a 'VERSE OF THE DAY' widget (currently Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT) for a daily dose of calm, and wellness apps like 'todewy' and the 'mindllama widget' for breathing exercises. My home screen is all about quick access to essentials. I group related apps into folders like 'photo editing,' 'reading,' and 'banking' to keep things clean. Important apps like Discord and Notes stay easily accessible. I even have a placeholder for a 'lifelight widget' I'm looking into! Don't forget your Control Center! While I largely kept the original controls for things like flashlight, camera, and calculator, knowing you can customize it for quick access to your most-used settings is key. Experiment with Focus modes to tailor your screen for work, personal time, or even sleep. Your iPhone screen is a reflection of you; make it a helpful, happy space. What changes will you make to transform your screen and answer 'why does my screen look like this' with a positive, organized reply?
