First Selfie Posted 😬

This is my first time posting a selfie on here. To be honest I wasn’t going to actually post a selfie on here. Lately, I’ve been at a place in my life where I don’t want to and haven’t been taking selfies or even want to post them on social media. The older I get and dealing with postpartum I’m choosing to take this time to relearn my self. Also, I don’t care how people feel about it but yes I’m 29 and I love stitch and he’s my favorite Disney character. #disneyfan #boymom #postpartum #outfitsideas

... Read moreIn recent years, the concept of taking selfies has evolved significantly. Once seen purely as a form of self-expression, selfies now also serve as powerful tools for mental health awareness. Many individuals use social media to share their journeys, particularly during postpartum stages. This personal documentation can help build a sense of community and support. Moreover, embracing personal interests, like Disney characters such as Stitch, can positively impact self-esteem and wellness. Engaging with communities around shared passions, like those found in hashtags such as #disneyfan or #boymom, fosters connection and acceptance among users. This emphasizes the importance of self-acceptance and the joy in celebrating one’s uniqueness. Let this first selfie be a step towards embracing who you are, no matter how you feel about sharing it with the world.
