✨SOFTBALL SZN IS ALMOST HERE! 🥎
Softball season is almost here and it's been awhile since I have been able to play back in the league here in San Fernando Valley, specifically Burbank fast pitch league. I have been playing on and off slow pitch for the last couple years. because of life-changing and things happening, I've only been able to play fastpitch a few times a year with my team, but this year I plan to play more consistently because I do miss playing the sport daily. as a former D1 softball player and playing professionally it's been hard to live my life without this game. I will be posting more softball tips as well as my other interests as content on this page!
Do you love softball? Do you play? If so, what are your goals this season?!

As someone who has been deeply involved in softball, both at the collegiate and professional levels, I can truly say that getting back on the field after a break is both challenging and rewarding. Life can sometimes pull us away from the game we love, but the passion never fades. If you’re entering a new softball season—whether you're playing fast pitch or slow pitch—consistency is key. This year, I’ve committed to playing more regularly, understanding how important it is to keep my skills sharp and stay connected with my team and the sport. When preparing for the season, focus on the fundamentals. Regular batting practice, quick hand-eye coordination drills, and maintaining cardiovascular fitness can make a significant difference in your performance. Don’t underestimate the value of mental preparation, too—setting clear goals for what you want to achieve each game or practice session can fuel motivation. For those of you joining leagues like the Burbank fast pitch in the San Fernando Valley or similar leagues elsewhere, embrace the community around softball. It’s about more than just the game; it’s about camaraderie, sportsmanship, and continually pushing yourself. Lastly, don’t hesitate to seek advice from seasoned players or coaches. Over my years playing at a high level, I’ve learned that sharing tips about pitching mechanics, defensive positioning, or hitting techniques can elevate everyone’s game. So, as softball season nears, reflect on what you love about the sport, set your goals, and get ready for an exhilarating season of challenges and growth. Whether you're playing for fun or competition, remember that every practice counts, and every game is a chance to improve and enjoy the ballpark vibes.
