What I Do During My Menstrual Phase 🩸📌
Being on your menstrual phase can sometimes be super challenging. We often times experience pain, discomfort, fatigue, tiredness and so much more.
This is why it is so important to practice self care, slowing down and rest in order to fully recover.
During our menstrual phase (winter season) we are called to be more introspective, calm and intuitive. This is why this is the perfect time to eat, rest, connect to your emotions and watch those romantic movies, and who knows maybe eat a bit of ice cream while we are at it? 🤷🏻♀️
The most important thing you can do is listen to your body and self without judgments and expectations. Don’t be afraid to slow down and tune in, actually i very much encourage it. When we listen to our bodies and take time to recover we always come back stronger.
So take the time you need, REST, RECOVER & RELAX. You deserve this. Eat nutritious food and educate yourself on your own body and it’s cycles. It’s honestly such an honor to be a woman and to be so in tune.
Your menstrual phase is your super power, it lets you know that you are healthy and your body is functioning properly. So honor that and honor yourself ✨🩸
With love,

Navigating the menstrual phase can indeed be challenging, yet it provides a unique opportunity for introspection and healing. During this time, prioritizing sleep can dramatically improve your well-being. Allow yourself to sleep in, guilt-free, and aim for 9-10 hours of restorative rest to support your body's recovery. Incorporating self-care routines is essential. Consider practicing gentle skin care with ingredients like Rose Quartz Gua Sha and cold-pressed oils, as this can help reduce inflammation and promote relaxation while enhancing your skin’s complexion. Emotional well-being also takes center stage during the menstrual phase. Engage in activities like journaling or crying to release pent-up feelings, allowing you to connect authentically with your emotions. Drinking herbal teas, such as chamomile or ginger, can further aid in relaxation and provide comfort. Nourishment is crucial; focus on consuming protein-rich and nutritious foods to replenish lost vitamins and minerals. Intuitive eating can help you listen to your body’s needs and facilitate healing. Embrace this time as a phase of empowerment, celebrating the capabilities of your body. By honoring your menstrual cycle, you not only cultivate a stronger connection to your femininity but also promote overall well-being.
