Zombie Pumpkins🧟‍♂️🎃

The zombie face is inspired from a kids video of “zombie ice cream”. I really liked the face they used and decided to incorporate it into a pumpkin version of that (inspiration but still my own creation). I really love this painting, it’s my new favorite. I enjoyed the realism used in the pumpkins with still the cartoon style that I usually prefer in my work (bold lines and colors are my thing which is why I usually do a lot of cartoon paintings of my favorite characters).

My BF and I decorated our pumpkins over the weekend. He did a zombie from Plants vs. Zombies and I painted soot sprites (from My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away). I had a few of the soot sprites in silly poses! It was really fun to decorate them and I think they turned out pretty good! #hallowe
