Insight!!!! On my lemon life
Yeah~ I’m part of the big league now, but on a serious now. I finally glad I started posting tho. I wonder what was going be the idea of what to post instead of actually posting. I feel for most cases. Us humans tend to crave something without actually being ready for the withdrawal or the combatant hell that exchanges for the current life you live or wanna build up. I’m actually proud of myself. Instead of looking at this account like oh my gosh! No likes!? No new followers! Shadowbanned!?
I use it more like a dairy. When I wanna expressing my thoughts. Not just for analytics of having to post content out there that attraction some type of financial gain or doing the whole fake networking. Most of my fyp consist of food and I love it! #notmyfault #notafollower #sorryfornotposting
Starting a social media journey, especially on unique platforms like Lemon8, can be a rollercoaster of emotions. I remember the moments when I questioned whether I should post at all, fearing a lack of engagement or being shadowbanned. But what helped me the most was shifting my mindset from chasing numbers to treating my posts as a personal diary where I could share my honest thoughts and experiences. Many people, including myself, often fall into the trap of craving validation through likes and followers without preparing for the emotional challenge that comes with it. The withdrawals from that craving, the constant comparison, and the pressure to perform can be mentally exhausting. However, by focusing on my true interests—like sharing about food, which naturally fills my For You Page—and writing for my own satisfaction, I found a sense of freedom I previously didn’t think possible. This approach also helped me deal with content creation anxiety. Instead of obsessing over whether a post will perform well, I celebrated small wins like continuing to create after a break or sharing something meaningful. It’s important to remember that social media isn’t just about financial gain or networking; it can be a space for personal growth and reflection. If you’re starting out or feeling stuck, try using your account as a diary or journal. Share your unfiltered thoughts and experiences honestly. This authenticity resonates with people far more than polished but impersonal content. Over time, you’ll notice that genuine connections and satisfaction from posting outweigh the pursuit of superficial metrics. Always remember, your social media journey is unique—embrace it at your own pace and for your own reasons. It’s okay to post inconsistently or about topics that truly interest you, like food or personal insights, without worrying about trends. The key is to enjoy the process and stay true to yourself.
