These are some of MY FAVORITE skincare products to use, especially for brightening and evening out my skin tone! (Please consult a dermatologist before trying any products to make sure it’s suitable for your skin).
Here's my skincare routine:
Morning 🌥️
🫧Step 1 - Use BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2% to exfoliate and unclog pores.
🫧Step 2 - On dry skin, use Vitamin C and let it absorb into the skin. This helps brighten and even out skin tone.
🫧Step 3 - *Additional step* I use Vitamin E oil to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated (If you're going out in the morning or even afternoon, l'd recommend using Vitamin E oil at night)
Evening 🌙

... Read moreSince you're here looking into battling dark spots and getting that radiant glow, let me share a bit more about why I picked these specific products from Target, especially from Naturium, and how they've truly made a difference in my personal journey. I know many of you are searching for effective solutions, and I’m always happy to dive deeper into what works for me!
First up, let's talk about the Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum. When I started looking for a Vitamin C, I wanted something that wasn't too harsh but still delivered powerful brightening. This serum has been a game-changer! From my experience, it not only brightens my complexion but also helps with those stubborn post-acne marks and overall unevenness. The OCR results for my Vitamin C serum mentioned 'improves fine lines and wrinkles, and brightens the skin,' which I've definitely seen firsthand. It's become a non-negotiable step in my morning routine to protect my skin and give it that healthy luminosity. Finding it easily at Target is a huge plus!
Then there’s the powerhouse duo for targeted treatment: Alpha Arbutin Serum and Tranexamic Acid. While my daily routine includes Alpha Arbutin for hyperpigmentation, I know many of you are also curious about Naturium's Tranexamic Topical Acid 5%. Both are fantastic ingredients for fading dark spots. Alpha Arbutin, as my OCR notes, 'improves uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation' by targeting melanin production. I've found it incredibly effective for the dark spots that linger after breakouts.
Now, for those really stubborn marks, or if you're looking for an extra boost, that's where something like Tranexamic Acid comes in. I've personally experimented with products containing it, and it excels at reducing the appearance of various forms of discoloration, including melasma and sun spots. It’s a brilliant addition if you're serious about evening out your skin tone. Many of Naturium's dark spot serums often feature a blend of these potent ingredients, making them highly effective.
Speaking of dark spots, I’ve often seen queries about other brands like Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Body Treatment. While my focus here is on my facial routine, I understand the need for body care too! Good Molecules is another accessible brand at Target that offers solutions with ingredients like Niacinamide and Tranexamic Acid—both excellent for addressing hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide, in particular, is a skincare superstar. I love it for its ability to improve skin barrier function, calm redness, and reduce the appearance of pores, which complements my routine perfectly. If you're tackling dark spots on your body, exploring products with these ingredients is definitely worth considering. Always good to check reviews for authenticity when buying any product, especially if you see unusually low prices or unofficial sellers.
My journey with these products, especially the BHA Liquid Exfoliant and AHA+BHA Peeling Solution (which the OCR confirms helps to 'exfoliate, brighten skin, even texture, clear pore congestion, and improve hyperpigmentation'), has taught me that consistency is key. Layering these targeted treatments has truly helped me manage my hyperpigmentation and achieve a brighter, more even complexion. I hope this deeper dive helps you on your own skincare quest for clear, radiant skin!
