... Read moreStepping onto the stage for my first ever live show in New York City feels like the culmination of a deeply personal journey, one that truly embodies what it means to be an 'unhinged lesbian diva.' For me, this isn't just about glamour or drama; it's about owning my truth, expressing my rawest emotions, and sharing my unique voice with the world, especially through original sapphic songs. This path hasn't been a straight line, but a beautiful, winding adventure, much of which was shaped by a 12-week journey inspired by The Artist's Way. That process truly unlocked my creativity through daily journaling, deep self-reflection, and those all-important solo artist dates that spark inspiration. It taught me to listen to my inner voice, to embrace the sometimes 'unhinged' ideas that bubble up, and to trust that those quirks are what make my artistry unique. Through it all, I found the courage to write the songs that truly speak to my experiences as a queer individual, transforming vulnerability into strength. Lately, I’ve also been on a major Broadway kick, which has been incredibly transformative. Taking myself to dinner and then seeing shows like Death Becomes Her completely reignited my passion for live performance. There's something magical about sitting in a crowded room, feeling that shared emotion and electricity as a story unfolds. It honestly reminded me why I loved performing in the first place. Seeing Broadway's hottest shows, often featuring iconic divas who are going through it, felt incredibly relatable and deeply inspiring. They showed me that authenticity, even in its most dramatic forms, resonates profoundly with an audience. Now, as this queer drama queen prepares to take center stage, I’m pouring all that inspiration and self-discovery into my performance. Expect me to be spilling a little tea, keeping it raw and real, and delivering a set of original sapphic songs that come straight from the heart. It’s more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of self-acceptance, artistic liberation, and the vibrant spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. This show, happening on 7/27 at 7 pm at Pangea NYC, is a dream realized, a testament to the power of embracing your unique 'diva' energy. If you're looking to ignite your own creative spark or just want to experience a night of genuine, heartfelt music and storytelling, I truly hope to see you there. Find your own version of 'unhinged' creativity, whether it's through journaling, exploring art, or simply allowing yourself to feel deeply and express freely. It’s a journey worth taking, and trust me, the stage is waiting for all of us.
