Over the years, I’ve learned that their growth and behavior change significantly as they mature. When my iguana was just a few weeks old, it was delicate and needed a carefully controlled environment—temperature, humidity, and diet all had to be just right. Living in Florida, the climate is pretty ideal for reptiles, but you still need to ensure their habitat mimics their natural environment. My iguana’s diet has evolved over time from mostly leafy greens and vegetables to including a wider variety of foods to keep him healthy and thriving. Watching him grow from such a tiny creature into a robust and friendly reptile has been such a fulfilling journey. I have always enjoyed sharing photos and milestones of his growth, as each stage brings new surprises and challenges. Iguanas are not just pets but companions that require patience and love. From the first moment I held him as a baby to now, over seven years later, the bond we share has deepened, making this adventure incredibly special.
