diml as a dual major student | work day ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐
a day in my life as a college student! I work Monday-Friday on campus, which is where I do most of my homework!
โ๏ธOn days where I go in later (noon) I try to get half of my steps in for the day. If I have a test, I will listen to my lectures before starting my study session. If it is a no test week, I use this time for audio books and podcast.
๐ปI am thankful I work on a beautiful campus in a computer lab! I am able to start my study sessions here, and create outlines and quizlets on shift. This way when I get home, I can re-read them.
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ปI am obsessed with Notion. Notion is a free productivity and note taking website. I have my school dashboard here, as well as fun stuff like TBR and film lists.
๐As a dual tourism major who take summer courses, I have had to find a way to study that works for me.
I love the outline method.
Outlines: using an outline method has helped me retain information. Itโs cut my reading time down too, which is nice.
- I start with reading through a new chapter, no notes or highlighting, just read.
-Then I create an outline with major concepts or topics, and write what I can under each.
-After I will do a re read and fill it in with supplemental information!
๐๐ปโโ๏ธI normally do not run late at night, but I just started marathon training and had to fit it in this day!
